I went there to visit a dear friend and they were very courteous help me get to where she was and I enjoyed my time with her it’s a nice place to convalescent thank you

I am/was a resident of this facility Rooms are great, entire bed changed twice a week along with shower. Food taste great. Great choices. PT helpful and kind. Overall staff is welcoming and supportive.P

We did not have a good experience. Small things could have been avoided before turning into bigger issues. My dad had a rough last month of his life before passing. We thought a care facility would give him the best chance of recovery after a below the knee amputation. This turned into 10 days of problems. First new pressure sores on his good foot. Then a horrible rash on his bottom from being rubbed raw and being placed and left on a bedpan. Then another increased infection in the amputation site. I feel like his care at copper ridge only contributed to his decline. He would have been better off just being at home. This is a choice I now have to think about and live with. Medical care in Shasta County is terrible in general but I will never recommend anyone to this facility. The only good thing at copper ridge is the physical therapy area. I hope for anyone that ever goes there you get better care than my dad did. And make sure to speak up and advocate for yourself and the care you deserve

They took good care of my mama! She broke her femur and was there for bout a month in a half! Overall great place! Awesome staff, Especially “Sheena” the social services director! She went above and beyond to help my mother! Kudos to the entire staff! You guys were all really great! My mother was treated respectfully and all her needs were fulfilled!

Everyone that worked there was professional. Physical therapy was great. It was sad for me leave. I met so many nice people there. I will back to visit soon.

My mom is a resident there. They have all been wonderful people with great attitude and very caring.

My mom was only here for a few days, my ex husband is there now. The social services, physical therapy departments that I had very little contact with I have to say are some of the nicest most helpful and amazing people. Thank you so much for caring for our loved ones in our community.

I visited this facility Staff was very rude treated mom like crap food was horrible wouldn’t feed it to my dog . Staff are snooty and act like your bothering them when you need something. Rooms smell of feces

I went to visit my friend who is there now and I have to say the people are very friendly and professional. Not sure how long she will be there but I will be going to visit her a few times a week

Very understaffed on the weekends with temp/outside workers. Had to persistently oversee care from Friday night to Monday morning. And that’s when they aren’t locked down with COVID. Meeting times were not honored and patient advocates were not invited. But there wasn’t mold on the walls and it wasn’t a horror show like some facilities.

I came here with stage 4 lymphoma. Wasn’t doing well. Decided on chemo. While th I s was going on I had caring nurses, helpful cna’s and staff. Understanding people about all the side effects. After chemo, while my hair was growing back, the activities personal kept me busy with great activities. I am in remission now and looking forward to my own apartment. The food here is good and special diets are provided..the cooks are great. While here I felt like a queen. I had a nice room, nice caregivers, attentive doctor, all the food I needed and activities. We had Bible study, a 12 step program, crafts of all kinds.. The center is going thru changes in turn over now. New employees. This is good because the caregivers are meeting everyone’s needs but the ratio of patients to cnas is understaffed. I don’t know all the goings on. I am sure they will work it out. The physical therapy department is very caring and helpful. All in all the place is wonderful. If I need to return I will be confident and happy to return here.

My father was assigned to this facility. He sat in his own urine due to lazy staff. He had demenria and couldnt remember to push the button for changes. You would think they would have checked him more often. Did not inform the family of medication changes. Most staff didn’t care that he was in pain and were very rough with him. I would not recommend this facility to any one.

My mom lived at Copper Ridge during COVID, the most frustrating period for all of us. Surprisingly, her continence improved with the consistent caring staff. There were no rotations and she was able to really get to know her caregivers, and they knew her well. At the time she passed, I think she was their longest resident, five years! When there were problems, (and there were!) the staff and administration were so respectful and responsive. I visited very frequently (even with my dog), and was always welcomed; some of the residents and staff became like family. ❤️

I’m soo happy to have had my loved one cared for and taken care of by the Copper Ridge Care Center team! They truly made me feel like they cared and always had fun activities to keep all those there involved and entertained. Highly recommend this establishment!!!

Been employed at Copper Ridge for over 5 years now. This facility is like family to me and love coming to work everyday. If you are looking for a place to care for your love ones I highly recommend Copper Ridge!

This facility is unmatched! Whenever I visit the staff is always so awesome, very welcoming and attentive no matter the day. Not to mention the building is nice and clean. The activity department never fails to surprise me with all the new fun and exciting activities they plan!

I wanted to compliment the staff at copper ridge. My mother is there and the attention she is given and the care she’s given is a huge piece of mind. Our family is more than greatful of the care and attention she receives. In all honesty, I am absolutely bias as my mom is the best mom ever and no place is good enough for my mom. But, having said that, I do know that the reality is that she can’t have someone standing over her for her every move 24hrs a day. However, the nurses and cna’s are more than caring and attentive to my mom. No one is perfect but,overall this staff is pretty great. Britney, Roxanne, Nissan, Amanda and Cathy go above and beyond. I can’t name all of those who take care of mom as remembering names is not something I’m any good at. Thank you to all the staff that helps take care of the best and sweetest mom ever!! Sandi Hall
